Aquaculture is becoming a key economic sector in the economy of our country. In 2005, exports of aquatic products reached 2.65 billion.  $ 4.5 billion in 2008, with 112.5% of planned targets set in 2010.
One of the most difficult bottlenecks of export are chemical residues, antibiotics, and importing countries hodat a technical barrier that Vietnam must overcome. To solve the problem infecting the substances are not allowed to use, harmful to the health of consumers and to overcome technical barriers by importing countries, generating sustainable export markets and stability. Building a system of safety standards of food hygiene in the production of aquaculture produce key raw materials for seafood processing and export. Therefore, the need to build technical solutions do not take drugs or find substitutes safe, apply the process of adoption of advanced technologies to achieve seafood safety and hygiene.
  Codes of practice for aquaculture Good (Good Aquaculture Practices, GAqP for short) is the application of practice in aquaculture to ensure food safety while minimizing disease and environmental pollution; improve economic efficiency for farmers.
